Site: SALEM Emergency Class: NON EMERGENCY "At approximately 1020 EST on January 21, 2016, a live Atlantic Sturgeon was removed from the Salem Unit 1 Circulating Water System (CWS) intake trash racks at the Salem Generating Station and placed back in the river at 1120 EST. A report was made by Environmental Licensing to the National Marine Fisheries at 1042 EST and NJDEP Division of Fish &
Wildlife at 1044 EST. Nuclear Environmental Affairs has made a determination that this is a 4-hr. report to the NRC under RAL 11.8.2.a."
Notified R1DO (Gray) and the Endangered Species Group both via E-mail.
