"On January 20, 2016 at 1530 EST, the control room was notified of a deceased American Crocodile discovered in the Owner Controlled Area. Based on visual evidence and the state of decomposition, the crocodile's death was not caused by facility operations. The Federal Fish and Wildlife Service and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were notified at 1615EST.

"The licensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector."

Notified R2DO (McCoy) and NRR Endangered Species via email.
