The U. S. Department of the Interior (Department) has reviewed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (DSEIS) for the proposed license renewal of the DTE Energy Fermi 2 power plant, located in Frenchtown Township, Monroe County, Michigan.On December 7, 2015, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service submitted comments on the proposed project pursuant to the Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act (48 Stat. 401, as amended; 16 U.S.C.661 et seq.) and the Endangered Species Act of 1973 (ESA).
