Site: SALEM Emergency Class: NON EMERGENCY "At approximately 1000 on December 18, 2015, a live Atlantic Sturgeon was removed from the Salem Unit 1 Circulating Water System (CWS) Intake trash racks at the Salem Generating Station and placed back in the river. A report was made by Environmental Licensing to the National Marine Fisheries at 1116 and NJDEP Division of Fish & Wildlife at 1115.
Nuclear Environmental Affairs has made a determination that this is a 4 hr. report to the NRC under RAL 11.8.2.a."
Notified R1DO (Ferdas) and the Endangered Species Group both via E-mail.
