NRC Notification of State of Florida Regarding Turkey Point 3 and 4 License Amendment - Changes to Boric Acid Tank Technical Specifications Hello Ms. Becker, As a follow-up to the voicemail I left you today, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is preparing to issue license amendments for the Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Unit Nos. 3 and 4. In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 50.91(b), I am notifying you of the proposed issuance of these amendments.
Please reply if the State of Florida has comments on the following licensing action submitted to the NRC by Florida Power & Light Company (the licensee): License Amendment Request No. 237, Application to Revise Technical Specification Figure 3.1-2, Boric Acid Tank Minimum Volume, dated April 16, 2015 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML15119A222).
The associated proposed no significant hazards consideration for this amendment request was published in the Federal Register on September 1, 2015 (80 FR 52806).
