Profile Key Experience Profession Dr. Restrepo has 30 years of experience in management, safety/risk analysis, safety basis (SB) documentation/implementation; nuclear explosive safety, criticality safety, integration of safety into design, safety and operational program implementation and assessments; phenomenological modeling; assessments and readiness; and training. Most recently he worked as technical lead for safety analysis and as a contributor to the ISA for the SHINE Medical technologies radioisotope facility project.

He served as Senior Technical Advisor and/or Mentor to Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) and DOE contractors on safety and operational programs development, implementation, and assessments.

Dr. Restrepo supported the preparation of numerous DOE Orders, Standards, and Guides (e.g.,

DOE-STD-3009, DOE-STD-5506, DOE-STD-1104, DOE-STD-1186, DOE-HDBK-3010, DOE-STD-1189),

and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standards.

He qualified as the Lead and Manager Safety Analyst for the National Security Technology (NSTec).
