KEWAUNEE POWER STATION AND ISFSI NOTIFICATION OF FIRST STORAGE OF SPENT FUEL UNDER A GENERAL LICENSE PURSUANT TO 10 CFR 72.21 2(b)(1)
Pursuant to 10 CFR 72.212, "Conditions of general license issued under 72.210,"
paragraph (b)(1), Dominion Energy Kewaunee, Inc. (DEK) is notifying the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of our intent to begin loading Kewaunee Power Station spent fuel into NAC International, Inc. MAGNASTOR system transportable storage canisters under the general license at Kewaunee Power Station.
DEK will use the MAGNASTOR system in accordance with the NRC issued Certificate of Compliance No. 1031, Amendment No. 5.
Loading activities are scheduled to commence on or about April 4, 2016.
