NQA-1 Lead Auditor Mr. McIntyre has 30 years of experience in the power industry involving a variety of quality related activities. This includes extensive experience in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Total Quality Management, and Change Management. His current position is Quality Services Manager, in which he is responsible for supervision of a group of quality professionals who oversee and are responsible for all quality assurance activities associated with new nuclear generation.
Mr. McIntyre has supervised various quality activities and personnel at nuclear power plants (during construction and operations) and the corporate office. He has extensive knowledge in various codes and standards and is an Executive and Main Committee member of the ASME NQA-1 Committee and the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Assessments and Verification.
Additionally, he has performed audits and developed quality assurance programs and procedures for a variety of clients. A number of these quality assurance program efforts have required the combining of multiple programs under a single program.
Mr. McIntyre has organized teams and developed strategies for independent evaluation and project oversight plans for design, fabrication and operation of systems and installations. He has coordinated and managed all aspects of independent assessments including planning, team selection and training, performance, reporting and follow-up. He has developed quality programs and procedures for designers, fabricators, and constructors.
