Biennial Report of Recent MRP-227-A Reactor Internals Inspection Results (Project 694)

The purpose of this document is to provide the NRC with a report of recent Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) inspection summary results of inspections performed to satisfy MRP-227-A, Materials Reliability Program: PWR Internals Inspection and Evaluation Guidelines.

Subsequent reports will be made on a biennial basis as required by MRP-227-A.

Enclosure 1 provides individual plant summary reports using the templates provided by EPRI letter MRP 2012-013, dated 3/20/2012. To date, six (6) U.S. domestic plants have completed the first MRP-227 reactor internals exams and several additional plants have performed some portion of the exams. In the next 12-18 months, several additional U.S. domestic plants will perform these inspections and the MRP will continue to compile the inspection results for monitoring and trending of aging management programs established by the industry.
