Change to Lists of Owners, Officers, Directors and Executive Personnel Gentlemen:
This letter transmits changes in Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation's (WCNOC) updated list of Owners, Officers, Directors and Executive Personnel (OODEP) for WCNOC and some of its owner companies in respect of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI) determination and Facility Security Clearance determination for WCNOC and Wolf Creek Generating Station.
The reference transmitted separate, updated, confidential OODEP lists for WCNOC and its three owner companies (Kansas Gas and Electric Company [KGE], Kansas City Power & Light Company [KCPL] and Kansas Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. [KEPCo]) as well as for KGE's ultimate parent company, Westar Energy, Inc., and KCPL's ultimate parent company, Great Plains Energy Incorporated (GPE).
By this letter, WCNOC is transmitting notice of recent changes in OODEP for WCNOC, Westar, KCPL, GPE, and KEPCo in accordance with 10 CFR 95.17(a)(1).
Specifically, this letter is to advise the NRC that:
Kevin E. Bryant has been appointed by KCPL to replace James C. Shay on the WCNOC Board of Directors, effective September 2, 2015. Although the NRC already has Mr. Bryant's personal information as an officer of KCPL and GPE, WCNOC is P.O. WCNOC also wishes to advise the NRC of a recent non-significant change to information on certain individuals named in the WCNOC, KCPL, GPE, Westar and KEPCo OODEP list provided with the reference, as follows:
Mr. James C. Shay, formerly Director, wcNOC; Sr. VP Finance & CEO, KCPL; and Sr.
VP Finance & CEO, Great Plains Energy, has resigned.
- Mr. Kevin E. Bryant, formerly Vice President - Strategic Planning, has been promoted to Sr. VP - Finance & Strategy & CEO of Great Plains Energy and KCPL. The NRC already has Mr. Bryant's personal information for GPE and KCPL, and thus it is not included with this letter.
Mr. Michael F. Morrissey, formerly Director on Westar's Board of Director's, did not stand for re-election, and thus went off the board effective May 21, 2015. The number of members was reduced to nine, and therefore, no replacement is named.
Mr. Douglas J. Jackson, formerly Alternate Trustee, has been named Trustee for KEPCo, effective August 25, 2015. The NRC already has Mr. Jackson's personal information for KEPCo, and thus it is not included with this letter.
Mr. Leon T. Eck, formerly Trustee, has been named Alternate Trustee for KEPCo, effective August 25, 2015. The NRC already has Mr. Eck's personal information for KEPCo, and thus it is not included with this letter.
The enclosed QODEP information contains personal confidential information.
Therefore, WCNOC requests that the NRC treat these enclosures as exempt from public disclosure under 10 CFR 2.390(a)(6) as "Personal and medical files and similar files, the disclosure of which would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy."
