FW: Information Regarding Vermont Yankee Decommissioning Trust Fund Exemption

Jim, Several questions come to mind when reviewing this communications plan:

1.) How can our cash flow analysis show that withdrawals from the decommissioning trust fund for spent fuel management are acceptable when the fund has only about half the amount expected to be needed for decommissioning work? Wont such withdrawals delay the time when the funds will be adequate to allow the start of major decommissioning activities?

2.) Why is this needed at all when Entergy has said it is taking out a $145-million line of credit for spent fuel management costs? The company has also said it expects that line of credit to be paid for through successful litigation against DOE for failing to remove spent fuel from site. What are we missing?
