Dear Mr. Joseph:
Enclosed is the final After Action Report/Improvement Plan for Byron Station Radiological Emergency Preparedness Exercise held on 20 May 2015. There were no Level 1 or Level 2 Findings, and one Plan Issue was identified during this exercise.
Based on the results of the exercise, the planning and preparedness for the State of Illinois and affected local jurisdictions provide reasonable assurance that appropriate measures can be taken to protect public health and safety. Therefore Title 44 CFR Part 350 approval of the offsite radiological emergency response plans and preparedness for the State of Illinois remains in effect.
