GRAND GULF NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT 1 - CORRECTION TO AMENDMENT NO. 206 REGARDING REVISION TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 5.6.5.b TO ADD REFERENCE NEDC-33075P-A, GE HITACHI BOILING WATER REACTOR DETECT AND SUPPRESS SOLUTION-CONFIRMATION DENSITY (TAC NO. MF5500)
Dear Sir or Madam:
By letter dated August 31, 2015 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML15180A170), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Amendment No. 206 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-29 for the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (GGNS). This amendment consisted of changes to the Technical Specifications (TS) in response to Entergy Operations, lnc.'s application dated January 6, 2015 (ADAMS Accession No. ML15006A238), as supplemented by letter dated March 27, 2015 (ADAMS Accession No. ML15089A126). The amendment revised the GGNS TS 5.6.5.b, "Core Operating Limits Report, to add Topical Report "NEDC-33075P-A, Revision 8, GE [General Electric] Hitachi Boiling Water Reactor Detect and Suppress Solution - Confirmatory Density
[DSS-CD], as Reference 27. The amendment was submitted in support of the NRC's approval of the Maximum Extended Load Line Limit Analysis Plus amendment.
Subsequent to issuance of the amendment, the NRC staff identified an editorial error on the cover letter and signature page of the amendment. The amendment number was not inserted into either page. The NRC staff has revised these pages of the amendment to add Number 206.

Dear Sir or Madam:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC, the Commission) has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 206 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-29 for the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (GGNS). This amendment consists of a change to the technical specifications (TS) in response to your application dated January 6, 2015, as supplemented by letter dated March 27, 2015.
The amendment modifies the GGNS TS 5.6.5.b, "Core Operating Limits Report (COLR)," by adding the reference "NEDC-33075P-A, Revision 8, GE [General Electric] Hitachi Boiling Water Reactor Detect and Suppress Solution - Confirmation Density [DSS-CD]," as Reference 27.
The amendment was submitted in support of the NRC's approval of the Maximum Extended Load Line Limit Analysis Plus amendment.
A copy the related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The Notice of Issuance will be included in the Commission's next biweekly Federal Register notice.

Accordingly, the license is amended by changes to the Technical Specifications as indicated in the attachment to this license amendment, and Paragraph 2.C.(2) of Facility Operating License No. NPF-29 is hereby amended to read as follows:

Technical Specifications The Technical Specifications contained in Appendix A and the Environmental Protection Plan contained in Appendix 8, as revised through Amendment No. 206 are hereby incorporated into this license. Entergy Operations, Inc. shall operate the facility in accordance with the Technical Specifications and the Environmental Protection Plan.

This license amendment is effective as of its date of issuance and shall be implemented within 180 days from the date of issuance.
