Revision to Response to Interim Compensatory Measures dated October 16, 2002 On October 16, 2002, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued an order that modified the general license for the Yankee Nuclear Power Station (YNPS) Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) to require compliance with the specified interim safeguards and security compensatory measures (Reference 1 )- Yankee Atomic Electric Company (Y AEC) submitted its original response on November 5, 2002 (Reference 2), and submitted several revisions with the most recent revision submitted on November 15, 2006 (Reference 3) with NRC approval on February 26, 2007. Via this letter, YAEC is submitting a revised YNPS ISFSI implementation matrix for the ICMs dated October 16, 2002 (Enclosure 1 ): In addition, a summary of changes to the YNPS ISFSI implementation matrix for the ICMs dated October 16, 2002 is provided in.
The enclosures contain Safeguards Information. It is therefore requested that this information be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390, "Public Inspections, Exemptions, Requests for Wit!14olding," paragraph (d)(l), and 10 CFR 73.22, "Protection of Safeguards Information: Specific Requirements," paragraph (a)(4).
When detached from Enclosures 1 and 2, this. cover letter does not contain Safeguards Information and may be decontrolled.
