Question for M. Wentzel on SAMA Document Request
- Terry, Our technical team has the following question for Mike Wentzel regarding SAMA General RAI #4 (Doc request for Windows based Methods for Estimation of Leakages and Consequences of Releases (MELCOR) Accident Consequence Code System (WinMACCS) calculation documentation) -
WinMACCS documentation is currently available on the NRC website:
http://pbadupws.nrc.gov/docs/ML0723/ML072350221.pdf However, the DCPP Level 3 model does not use WinMACCS and does not reference the above WinMACCS document.
DCPP used MACCS2. Volume 1 of the MACCS2 Users Guide is on the NRC website (http://pbadupws.nrc.gov/docs/ML1100/ML110030976.pdf). DCPP can provide Volume 2 if necessary.
Is it acceptable to provide t he NRC with the MACCS2 Vols 1 & 2 Users Guides for the SAMA Audit?
