SUMMARY

OF THE MAY 14, 2015, PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE REGARDING BYRON NUCLEAR POWER STATION On May 14, 2015, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a public open house to discuss the 2014 annual assessment results for Byron Nuclear Power Station at Room 107 of the Byron Nuclear Power Station Training Building. The purpose of the open house was to provide an opportunity for the public to discuss NRC activities, nuclear power issues and Byron Nuclear Power Station performance for the period of January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014. The NRC letter and meeting notice for this open house can be found in Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) as ML15089A248 and ML15089A270 respectively. Enclosed are attendee lists for the meeting.

The NRC provided discussions related to the NRCs assessment of the Byron Nuclear Power Station performance, which was documented in the March 4, 2015 End-of-Cycle Assessment Letter (reference ADAMS Accession Number ML15602A550). As part of this open house, both Exelon and Illinois Emergency Management Agency were available to address questions and concerns. Throughout the open house, members of the public were given the opportunity to ask questions of Exelon officials and NRC officials.
