UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA-DAVIS - REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST (TAC NO. ME9575)
Dear Dr. Klein:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is continuing its review of your request for a license amendment to Facility Operating License No. R-130, dated July 15, 2011 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML11199A214), for the University of California - Davis McClellan Nuclear Research Center. During our review, we noticed some differences between the proposed technical specification replacement pages submitted as part of your application (i.e., the markup pages) and the technical specifications pages we have as the official docketed file copy. As such, we request that you submit a complete copy of your current license, including the technical specifications for our review.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 50.30(b), you must execute your response in a signed original document under oath or affirmation. Your submittal must be submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.4, Written communications. Information included in your response that is considered sensitive or proprietary, which you seek to have withheld from the public, must be marked in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding. Any information related to security should be submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21, Protection of Safeguards Information: Performance Requirements. Following receipt of the additional information, we will continue our evaluation of your license amendment request.
