SUBJECT:
STAFF REVIEW OF CALLAWAY PLANT UNIT 1 PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN REVISION 12 FOR THE VERFICATION OF ASM (EA-13-237) INCORPORATION (TAC NO. L25009)
The staff has completed its review of Callaway Plant Unit 1 Physical Security Plan (PSP)
Rev.12 which was submitted by the Union Electric Company to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) by letter dated April 16, 2015.
Based on our review, we find the submitted PSP to be acceptable and the Callaway Plant PSP has met the applicable performance objectives and general requirements outlined in Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulation (10 CFR), Section 73.55, and the Additional Security Measures imposed by NRC Order EA-13-137.
A physical security inspection (IR Nos. 05000483/2015401 AND 07201045/2015401) was completed on April 30, 2015 which verified the PSP successfully meets the objectives outlined in IP 81311. Based on staffs observations, the Callaway Plant PSP has met the performance objectives and general requirements outlined in 10 CFR Section 73.55 and the Additional Security measures (ASMs) imposed by the NRC.
