SUBJECT: ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RESPONSE TO SEVERITY LEVEL IV VIOLATIONS IN
NRC INSPECTION REPORT 07200046/2014001 & 05000409/2014008(DNMS)

Dear Ms. Nick:
This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated April 21, 2015 (ML15128A267) in response
to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) letter dated March 26, 2015, transmitting
Inspection Report 07200046/2014001(DNMS) and 05000409/2014008(DNMS) (ML15085A562).
In your April 21, 2015 letter (LAC-14341) and enclosure, you contested the non-cited violation
(NCV) 07200046/2014001-05 and 05000409/2014008-05 related to staff augmentation
capability. We are currently reviewing your bases for contesting the violation. The NRC seeks
to be thorough and timely in the review of your response to the violation, and we have initiated
an independent review consistent with NRC policy. We will inform you as soon as we complete
our independent evaluation. Our goal is to complete our review and inform you of the results in
writing within 90 days of the date of your letter.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of
Practice, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRCs
Public Document Room or from the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management
System (ADAMS), accessible from the NRCs website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-
rm/adams.html.
