REISSUE - SAINT LUCIE NUCLEAR PLANT - U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION PHYSICAL SECURITY INSPECTION REPORT 05000335/2015404 AND 05000389/2015404
Dear Mr. Workman:
On March 10, 2015, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued the subject Saint Lucie Nuclear Plant - NRC Physical Security Inspection Report (IR) 05000335/2015404 and 05000389/2015404, ADAMS Accession Numbers ML15069A195 and ML15079A090 (nonpublic versions). In the previous issued IR the NRC documented a self-revealing Green non-cited violation (NCV), after additional discussion between Florida Power and Light (FP&L) and the NRC; we agree that credit for identification of the NCV can be given to the licensee in this case. Accordingly, we are reissuing the IR to accurately characterize the violation as a Licensee-Identified Violation (LIV). We request that you replace the entire report with the Enclosure to this letter.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, of the NRC's "Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room, or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS); accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
However, the material enclosed herein contains Security-Related Information in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d)(1), and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals could present a security vulnerability. Therefore, the material in the Enclosure will not be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room, or from the PARS component of NRCs ADAMS.
