NOTICE OF INTENT TO PARTICIPATE AS A PARTY Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 2.1202(b), the NRC Staff (Staff) is required to notify the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board (Board) and the parties within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of an order granting a request for a hearing as to whether it desires to participate as a party and to identify the contentions on which it wishes to participate as a party. On March 23, 2015, the Board issued a Memorandum and Order (Granting CASEs Petition to Intervene) wherein the Board granted standing to Citizens Allied for Safe Energy, Inc. (CASE), and admitted one contention. The Staff hereby notifies the Board and the parties of its intent to participate as a party in this adjudicatory proceeding with respect to the admitted contention.
