Diversreportedthat,whileremovingdebrisintheHudsonRiverinfrontoftheIndianPointUnit2intakestructure,they salvagedonedeadAtlanticSturgeon,1200mmtotallength,fromamongthedebris.WeidentifythisdeadAtlantic Sturgeonusingthefollowinguniquenumber:90000101.ThisfishwasprovidedtoNormandeauAssociates,Inc.on25 February2015at1050ESTbythedivingcontractor.Thesalvagedfishwasinastateofmoderatedecompositionand takentoNormandeausWestHaverstraw,NewYorkfieldofficeforprocessinglaterthatdaytocompleteanincidental report(AppendixII)aSturgeonSalvageform(AppendixIII),andalsoobtainedageneticsampleasspecifiedinAppendix IV.SinceitisunclearifthefishismoreappropriatelyreportedunderNMFSSalvagePermitNo.17273ortheIncidental TakeStatementaccompanyingtheBiologicalOpinionfortheContinuedOperationsofIndianPointNuclearGenerating UnitNos.2and3(ITS,30January2013),wecompletedformsapplicabletobothandprovidetheseasazippedfileto NOAAalongwithninephotographsofthefishzippedandattachedtothisemail.ThisemailwascopiedtoMr.Michael WentzelofNRCasspecifiedintheIndianPointITS.Pleasecontactmeifyouhaveanyquestionsabouttheinformation provided.Mark
