- Briana, Yes, you are correct. We ordinarily coordinate with the Bureaus in order to compile one DOI letter. And while this is usually the case, there are times when the Bureaus will send in comments directly. With that being said, this office has not received any comments on the subject project.

Hi Valincia, I am working on the review of the Byron Station license renewal application for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). This morning I received a copy of the DOIs February 17 comment letter on the NRCs supplemental environmental impact statement (SEIS) for Byron (attached for your reference). Do you know if this letter inclusive of the FWSs review of the document as well? In past projects, I have found that sometimes the DOI and FWS coordinate their reviews and send one letter, but since the DOIs letter is very brief, I wanted to check before making this assumption. Thanks!
