Dear Public Affairs officer,
I am an Investigator with the law firm of Labaton Sucharow LLP. I am conducting a research project and request your assistance. In April of 2013 the NRC sent a notice of violation and proposed a civil penalty of $36,400 against Chicago Bridge & Iron (CB&I) for discrimination by one of its newly purchased Shaw subsidiaries against an employee who raised a safety concern. The NRC also requested CB&I take action to improve safety culture at a second former Shaw subsidiary. I am interested in obtaining all publically available materials and NRC press releases concerning that proposed action and any subsequent regulatory action or communications taken by the NRC regarding CB&I or its predecessor the Shaw Group. I am also interested in obtaining any publically available material concerning delays or regulatory concerns at the Vogtle Units 3 & 4 facility in Georgia. Could you please direct me as to where I may obtain said materials?
