Change of NIST Center for Neutron Research (NCNR) Chief Reactor Operations and Engineering Docket No. 50-184 Gentlemen:

In accordance with the requirements of the NBSR Technical Specifications, section 6.7.2.(2)(a), we are reporting that the Chief Reactor Operations and Engineering has changed. Dr. Paul C. Brand has assumed the responsibilities of this position effective January 26, 2015. Dr. Brand has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Twente University in The Netherlands. Dr. Brand was the Chief of Reactor Engineering of the NCNR and prior to that he was the Lead Engineer of the Research Facilities Operations Group of the NCNR: Dr. Brand has over 23 years of experience in neutron research and the management of research reactor engineering.
