RE: NRC Request for Additional Information Good Morning Mr. Ramsey, We have one follow-up question regarding the labeling of Model CS2100. 10 CFR Part 32.51(a)(4) requires that Each device having a separable source housing that provides the primary shielding for the source also bears, on the source housing, a durable label containing the device model number and serial number, the isotope and quantity, the words, Caution-Radioactive Material, the radiation symbol described in §20.1901 of this chapter, and the name of the manufacturer or initial distributor. Please confirm that there is a separate label on the source housing. In addition, provide the location and a copy of the label.

Please contact me via email or phone, 301-415-7124, if you have any questions or concerns.

Best Regards, Celimar Valentin-Rodriguez, Ph.D.

NRCRequestforAdditionalInformation

Dear Mr. Ramsey,

This email is in response to your letter, dated January 5, 2015. During the review of your letter, we found that additional information is needed in order to amend your Registration Certificate GA-0716-D-108-B. Please provide the following information:

1. In your letter dated February 22, 2012, you stated that Model CS2100 will be available with three different span sizes as follows: 180mm, 1150mm and 1250mm. However, your letter dated January 5, 2015, stated that the different span sizes are 180mm, 1100mm, and 1250mm. Please clarify whether the span size is 1150mm or 1100mm. If the span size is 1100mm, please submit an engineering drawing and new illustrations indicating this.
2. Indicate the location of the label on the device. Please note that the label must be placed so that they are easily visible to the users of a device and will remain attached to the part of the device that contains the radioactive material.

Please submit the requested information within 30 days of the date of this email. If we do not receive a response with the complete information within 30 days of the date of this email, we will consider your request as having been abandoned by you. This is without prejudice to the submission of a new request. If you intend to submit the information to us via email, the information should be submitted in an official company letter as an attachment to an e-mail.

Best Regards, Celimar Valentin-Rodriguez, Ph.D.
