ENTERGY SIX-MONTH STATUS NOTIFICATION IN RESPONSE TO CONFIRMATORY ORDER, EA-14-013

Dear Mr. Vitale:

The purpose of this letter is to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated December 18, 2014, which described your progress in implementing the requirements of the Confirmatory Order issued to you by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on July 21, 2014.

We reviewed your letter and find it is responsive to the NRCs requirement that you provide a six-month written notification on the status of your completion of the Confirmatory Order action items. We have no further questions or comments at this time and will review the implementation of your corrective actions during a future NRC staff inspection to verify full compliance has been achieved and maintained.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.390, Public Inspections, Exemptions, Requests for Withholding, of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRCs Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of the NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
