ZION NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 - REQUEST FOR NRC APPROVAL OF REVISION 7 TO THE ZION NUCLEAR POWER STATION QUALITY ASSURANCE PROJECT PLAN (TAC NOS. J53032 AND J53033)

Dear Mr. Sauger:

By letter dated October 1, 2014, ZionSolutions (ZS) submitted a proposed revision to the Zion Nuclear Power Station (ZNPS) Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) for NRC review and approval. By letter dated November 20, 2014, the NRC requested additional information related to the qualifications of ZNPS Health Physics staff. By letter dated December 11, 2014, ZS clarified the qualification requirements for the ZNPS Health Physics staff, and provided a commitment to revise the QAPP to reflect those qualification requirements. Based on our review of your response and commitment, we find revision 7 of the ZNPS QAPP to be acceptable.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
