NOTICE OF VIOLATION (NRC INSPECTION REPORT 05000313/2014008
AND 05000368/2014008)
Dear Mr. Browning:
On June 23, 2014, the NRC cited Entergy Operations, Inc.s failure to accomplish a move of the
Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1, main turbine generator stator in accordance with documented
instructions and procedures as required by 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B, Criterion V,
Instructions, Procedures, and Drawings. The Notice of Violation, enclosed with NRC
Inspection Report 05000313/2014008 and 05000368/2014008 (ML14174A832), required you to
respond in writing within 30 days. You responded by letter, dated July 18, 2014
(ML14199A412). You submitted a supplemental response by letter, dated November 20, 2014
(ML14324A783).
This letter is to acknowledge receipt of your supplemental response letter, dated November 20,
2014. We have reviewed your supplemental response and find that it meets the requirements
of 10 CFR 2.201. We will review your corrective actions during a future inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be
made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from
the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access Management System (ADAMS), which is accessible
