This letter is to inform you that effective November 30, 2014, Mr. Eric R. Oesterle has been assigned as the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Acting Chief for Plant Licensing Branch IV-1, Division of Operating Reactor Licensing, through March 7, 2015, and has licensing oversight responsibility for Diablo Canyon Power Plant, Units 1 and 2. Mr. Oesterle assumes all supervisory duties previously held by Mr. Michael T. Markley as Chief, Plant Licensing Branch IV-1.
