Dear Administrative Judges:
In accordance with our prior commitments to the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board and the parties in this proceeding, attached is copy of the cover letter to the NRC regarding Pacific Gas and Electric Companys report on the Central Coastal California Seismic Imaging Project.
PG&E completed the project following the recommendation of the California Energy Commission in a report in response to California legislation (Assembly Bill 1632). The report was submitted to the NRC on September 10, 2014.
Due to the format and size of the electronic files that make up the report, it is not feasible to submit the report directly via the Electronic Information Exchange. Counsel for PG&E will therefore contact counsel for San Luis Obispo Mothers for Peace and the NRC Staff, as well as the Licensing Board law clerk, to identify the best method for transmitting a copy of the files (e.g., via USB drive or FTP site). We will also send a hard copy of the report to the Licensing Board law clerk, as previously requested.
