Turkey Point NFPA-805 RAI Response Due Date Hi Olga, By letter dated July 14, 2014 (ADAMS Accession No. ML14083A377), the NRC requested additional information related to Florida Power & Light Companys (the licensees) license amendment request to adopt NFPA-805. The NRC staff requested that the licensee respond to the request in two parts by July 31, 2014, and August 15, 2014. The licensee responded to the request, in part, on July 18, 2014 (ADAMS Accession No. ML14213A078).
On August 11, 2014, the licensee informed the NRC that additional time is needed to respond to the remaining portion of the NRCs request. The NRC staff acknowledges that the licensee needs additional time to respond to the request because the NRC and industry are still finalizing a generic FAQ related to well-sealed cabinets over 440 volts that will impact the licensees response to the remaining portion of the request. Therefore, a new due date for the remaining portion of the request will be determined at a later time.
