UNIVERSITY July 17, 2014 Document Control Desk U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20852-2738 The purpose of this letter is to inform the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (U.S. NRC) of a permanent change in the facility organization involving Level 1 management personnel.

The facility organization for the Washington State University research reactor (Facility Operating License R-76) is defined in Section 6.1 of the Technical Specifications for License R-76. Level 1 management is assigned to the Vice President for Research of Washington State University.

Section 6.10.2(3) of the Technical Specifications stipulates that a written report be submitted to the U.S. NRC within 30 days of a permanent change in Level I management. Washington State University named a new, permanent, Vice President for Research, Dr. Chris Keane, on July 1,2014.
