This e-mail is in reference to your request dated June 12, 2014, that you filed electronically with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
The NRC staff is currently evaluating your request to amend NRCs regulations at 10 CFR Part 37, Physical Protection of Category 1 and Category 2 Quantities of Radioactive Material, to determine if it meets the NRCs requirements in § 2.802 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Petition for rulemaking, for docketing of a petition for rulemaking.
