lEMA Resident Inspector Program Change in Personnel Status- LaSalle Resident Inspector

Dear Ms. Pederson,

Pursuant to the Memorandum ofUnderstanding (MOU) between the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC) and the Illinois Emergency Management Agency-Bureau of Nuclear Facility Safety (IEMA-BNFS), specifically Sub Agreement 3,Section VI.B of that agreement, I am pleased to inform you that Mr. Richard J. Zuffa, formerly IEMA-BNFS-NFI Resident Inspector Unit Supervisor, has accepted the position as Resident Inspector of LaSalle Nuclear Station and is considered by our agency as fully qualified and certified to function in that capacity.

My signature on this letter provides certification in accordance with Section VI.A.5 of Sub agreement 3 that Mr. Zuffa has no financial or other interests that may call into question his objectivity or that could create a conflict of interest or the appearance of a conflict of interest.

I would like to thank you and your NRC staff for their support of our lEMA Resident Inspector Program as we pledge our continued effort to work in mutual cooperation for the protection of the health and safety of Region III and Illinois residents.
