ORDER The Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) filed a motion on April 28, 2014, for leave to file a brief amicus curiae in connection with the request for a hearing recently filed by the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy (SACE) relating to an asserted de facto amendment of the St. Lucie Unit 2 operating license. SACE does not object to the motion, but it has requested until May 23, 2014, to file an answer.1 Pursuant to my authority under 10 C.F.R. § 2.346(j), SACEs request to specify a time within which to answer NEIs brief amicus curiae is granted. Any such answer shall be filed on or before May 23, 2014.
