Correction to Relief Request for Hardship Or Unusual Difficulty Without Compensating Increase in Level Of Quality Or Safety In the referenced letter, NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC requested NRC approval of relief from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) OM Code Section.
Subsequently, the NRC Staff identified two typographical errors. The purpose of this letter is to address those typographical errors. As identified by the Staff, the referenced letter incorrectly references the end of the Fourth Ten Year Interval of the Inservice Inspection Program for the Duane Arnold Energy Center (DAEC), which ends October 31, 2016. This reference should be the Fourth Ten Year Interval of the Inservice Testing Program for the Duane Arnold Energy Center (DAEC), which ends on January 31, 2016.
Also identified by the Staff, Section 5 of the enclosure to the referenced letter incorrectly sites ASME OM Code, 2009 Edition, this should be ASME OM Code, 2012 Edition.
