OF CONFERENCE CALL HELD ON MARCH 26, 2014, BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION AND ENTERGY NUCLEAR OPERATIONS, INC. CONCERNING A DRAFT REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE REACTOR VESSEL INTERNALS PROGRAM Representatives of the US. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff) and representatives of Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc., (Entergy or the applicant) held a conference call on March 26, 2014, to discuss a draft request for additional information (RAI) related to the Reactor Vessel Internals (RVI) program and the RVI Inspection Plan A list of the participants is enclosed By e-mail dated March 6, 2014, the staff sent draft RAisin response to Entergy's submittal on September 27, 2013. Additional information was requested on several topics, such as clarification on the primary links of the RVI inspection plan since they are relied upon to predict irradiation embrittlement and irradiation assisted stress corrosion cracking; clarification on the schedule to implement commitment #50, as stated in the Entergy submittal on September 27, 2013; and clarification on actions taken by Entergy to address the potential for degradation of the clevis insert bolts, as documented in Westinghouse lnfoGram IG-1 0-1.

Entergy stated that it understood the basis for all of the staff's draft RAis, and no draft RAis were modified as a result of the conference call. The conference call was useful in clarifying the intent of the RAis. A response time of 60 days was requested and agreed upon by the staff.

The applicant had an opportunity to comment on this summary.
