GRAND GULF NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT 1 -FINAL REPORT FOR THE REPLACEMENT STEAM DRYER (TAC NO. MF0343)

Dear Sir or Madam,

By letter dated August 1, 2013 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML13214A138), Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy, the licensee),

transmitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) General Electric- Hitachi (GEH) report NEDC-33765 Supplement 4P, Revision 1, "Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Replacement Steam Dryer EPU full Reanalysis and Benchmarking Report." This letter also submitted the licensee's responses to NRC staff requests for additional information (RAis) transmitted to Entergy by letter dated February 25, 2013 (ADAMS Accession No. ML13038A603). By e-mail dated September 17, 2013 (ADAMS Accession No. ML14094A394), the NRC staff transmitted additional RAis regarding Entergy's letter dated August 1, 2013. By letter dated March 20, 2014 (ADAMS Accession No. ML14077A591), Entergy provided responses to the RAis requested in the NRC staff's e-mail dated September 17, 2013.

The NRC staff has completed its review of the GEH report NEDC-33765 and the licensee's responses to the staff's RAis regarding the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit No. 1 replacement steam dryer and has no further questions at this time. As such, the NRC's activities on this effort have ceased and the associated Technical Assignment Control number MF0343 has been closed.
