- Bill, Below are the details for the January 28 and 29 NFPA 805 audit. It is my understanding that the team will not need to visit inside the protected area. I also need to confirm that the team intends to fly in on 1/27 so that the audit will start the morning of 1/28. I would feel more comfortable if I could arrange a quick phone call with you and some of the team prior to the audit after you have had a chance to digest the information below. Sincerely, Joe Sebrosky 301-415-1132 FINAL COOPER NFPA-805 PRA AUDIT I. REGULATORY AUDIT OBJECTIVE:
The objective of this regulatory audit is to:
- Provide the NRC staff a comprehensive understanding of the PRA methods and models that the licensee is proposing to use in response to all PRA requests for information (RAIs),
- Discuss information that should be docketed to complete the Fire PRA review and,
- Identify any related issues that may need to be addressed to finalize the PRA sections of the SE.
II. REGULATORY AUDIT SCOPE The audit team will review the licensees latest version of PRA RAI responses. In addition, the team may review supporting documentation for PRA models.
III. INFORMATION NECESSARY FOR THE AUDIT
- Access to licensee personnel and/or contractors familiar with the PRA model.
- Access to all PRA related information and support from licensee staff and contractors in identifying and retrieving relevant documents.

IV. TEAM ASSIGNMENTS The audit will be conducted by NRC staff from the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR), Division of Risk Assessment (DRA), PRA Licensing Branch (APLA). The audit team may consult with their contractors from the Pacific Northwest National Laboratories via teleconference. The NRC PRA audit team members will consist of Hossein Hamzehee, Daniel ONeal, and Stephen Dinsmore.
The table below shows the audit schedule.

LOGISTICS This regulatory audit is planned for the week of January 27, 2014, and will last approximately 2 days. These dates are subject to change based on mutual agreement between the licensee and the NRC. The audit will take place at the Cooper plant site in an agreed upon location by NRC and the licensee.
VI. SPECIAL REQUESTS The regulatory audit team will require the following to support the regulatory audit:
- Private conference room(s) with telephone conferencing capability (preferably outside the protected area) to support the discussions and review.
- Wired and/or wireless internet access.
