- LICENSE RENEWAL INSPECTION PUBLIC EXIT MEETING FOR SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT

Dear Mr. Shea:

On December 17, 2013, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted an exit meeting at the Sequoyah Training Center in Soddy-Daisy, TN, in which we discussed the preliminary results of an NRC inspection of the scoping and screening methodology, and implementation of aging management programs associated with the license renewal application for Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2. The meeting accomplished the goal of communicating the inspection activities conducted to assess your license renewal activities and inspection results in a public setting. The meeting also afforded the members of the public the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback to the NRC regarding NRCs inspection activities at the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant after the business portion of the meeting.

The list of meeting attendees is enclosed in this letter. The presentation slides and notes used for the meeting are available in the NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) under Accession Number ML13361A021.
