Dear Sir or Madam:
On or around December 20, 2013, Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station will change the way it operates its Emergency Response Data System (ERDS). Currently, Pilgrim Station manually starts ERDS data transfer at an Alert or higher classification level. Following the above date, ERDS data will be sent continuously from Pilgrim Station to the NRC 24 hours per day, 7 day a week. This is part of an Entergy fleet-wide initiative.
Pilgrim Station personnel will notify NRC ERDS personnel prior to initiating the continuous operation of the ERDS.
This letter contains no new commitments and no revisions to existing commitments.
