Box 13087 Austin, Texas 78711-3087 Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant PWS #2130016 Public Water System Deactivation

Dear Sir/Madam:

This letter is submitted as notification that the above referenced Public Water System ID is no longer active as a water supply source. Effective November 1, 2013, all connections to on-site treatment, pressure maintenance, and storage facilities have been physically removed.

Somervell County Water District (SCWD), PWS #2130042, is now the sole source of potable water for the Comanche Peak facility. With removal of all on-site treatment, pressure maintenance, and storage facilities, this system no longer meets the definition of a Public Water System, and therefore, this designation should no longer be designated as such.

Discussions have been held with SCWD management and the Company will provide access as needed for their system sampling requirements.

The Company respectfully requests deactivation of this PWS ID and will file the final Disinfectant Level Quarterly Operating Report in January for the final period of operation through the disconnection date.

If you have any questions or require any additional information, please contact David Rutledge at 214-875-8296 or david.rutledge@luminant.com.

Sincerely, Rafael Flores A member of the STARS (Strategic Teaming and Resource Sharing) Alliance Callaway
