SUBJECT:
Revision to Schedule - Planned Inspection of TI-2515/186 Inspection of Procedures and Processes for Responding to Potential Aircraft Threats at Fort Calhoun Station
Dear Mr. Cortopassi:
In previous correspondence, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) documented that the inspection using Temporary Instruction (TI)-2515/186 would be conducted on the week of October 21, 2013 (Accession Number ML13054A003). Recent changes in the inspection schedule onsite necessitated the rescheduling of the TI-2515/186 inspection. In communications on October 7, 2013, Mr. S. Hedger, Operator Licensing Branch, and Mr. E.
Matzke, Licensing, made arrangements for the NRC to conduct the TI-2515/186 inspection at Fort Calhoun Station. This inspection is now planned for the week of April 7, 2014. The NRC inspectors request to observe a tabletop or control room simulator exercise, combined with plant walkthroughs with plant operators to allow inspection of TI-2515/186 attributes. Mr. E. Matzke has been advised of this request and provided with the name and address of the NRC lead inspector assigned to this inspection.
