RESPONSE TO NOTICE OF VIOLATION AND NRC INSPECTION REPORT 05000416/2013201
Dear Mr. Mulligan:
On September 18, 2013, the NRC cited Entergy Operations, Inc. for failure to provide complete and accurate information, as pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (1 0 CFR)
Section 54.13, "Completeness and Accuracy of Information," in several responses to requests for additional information associated with the NRC's reviews of the Grand Gulf license renewal application. The Notice of Violation, enclosed with Inspection Report 05000416/2013201 (ML13239A398), required you to respond in writing within 30 days. You responded by letter dated October 17, 2013 (ML13291A126).
After reviewing the information you provided in your response to the Notice of Violation, we have concluded that your completed and proposed actions appear to adequately address the regulatory noncompliance described in the Notice of Violation. Region IV will review your implementation of these corrective actions during a future inspection to determine whether full compliance has been restored and whether compliance will be maintained.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the NRC's Agencywide Documents Access Management System (ADAMS), accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
