Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc., (Entergy) is hereby providing the attached response to the NRC Vessels and Internals Integrity Branch (EVIB) request for additional information, Reference 1, associated with the proposed changes to the Indian Point 2 Technical Specifications in Reference 2. The proprietary version of this response is provided in Attachment 1 and the non-proprietary version is provided in Attachment

2. The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), the owner of the proprietary information used in the Indian Point 2 response has provided a signed supporting affidavit in Enclosure
1. This affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information in Attachment 1 may be withheld from public disclosure by the Commission and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in paragraph (b)(4) of 10 CFR 2.390 of the Commission's regulations.

Accordingly, it is respectfully requested that the information, which is proprietary to EPRI, be .J4 yD (

NL-13-123 Docket No. 50-247 Page 11 of 2 withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the Commission's regulations.

The proprietary information in Attachment 1 is contained within double brackets with the superscript

{E}. The proprietary information has been deleted in Attachment 2, so that only the double brackets with the superscript

{E} remain.A copy of this response and the associated attachment is being submitted to the designated New York State official in accordance with 10 CFR 50.91.There are no new commitments being made in this submittal.
