Dear Mr. Sunseri:

By letter dated August 19, 2013, (ADAMS ML13233A208), the NRC issued a Chilling Effect letter notifying Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation of two concerns with the safety conscious work environment at Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS). The first concern related to a May 15, 2013, finding by the Department of Labors Occupational Safety and Health Administration that Enercon Services, Inc., a contract company performing work at WCGS had discriminated against a former employee for raising safety concerns at WCGS. The second concern related to the NRC identification of the existence of a chilled work environment in WCGSs Quality Assurance Group.
