VIRGIL C. SUMMER NUCLEAR STATION (VCSNS) UNIT 1 DOCKET NO. 50-395 OPERATING LICENSE NO. NPF-12 INVESTIGATIVE REPORT FITNESS FOR DUTY PROGRAM VULNERABILITY South Carolina Electric & Gas, acting for itself and as agent for South Carolina Public Service Authority is submitting this response in accordance with 10 CFR 26.719(c)(1), which describes the requirements for reporting Fitness for Duty "... matters that could adversely reflect on the integrity of the random selection or testing process...". Any identified errors must be reported to the NRC within 30 days of completing an investigation. The investigation was completed on August 27, 2013.
V.C. Summer Nuclear Station previously reported these details in Event Notification#49213 on July 23, 2013 to satisfy the requirements of 10 CFR 26.719(b)(4). This letter and attachment satisfies the requirement under 10 CFR 26.719(c)(1), and provides the results of the evaluation and corrective actions documented in condition report CR-1 3-03066.
