Plead provide me with an email (with Dennis' agreement on the content) to NMFS as soon as you can today that briefly informs them:
-that our consultation will continue to its logical conclusion, including providing whatever data they need
-that we will take appropriate actions with the applicant should it be necessary as a result of the consultation
-that we propose to issue a renewed license which will have no affect on the above (this would be where you would weave in that we wanted to correct their letter that indicated June for a LR date)
It doesn't need to be in the order above; these are just the things I remember from our meeting yesterday.
OGC and our mgmt would like it to be an email and to go out by COB today, both of which sound reasonable (and less work than a letter) to me. Sound doable?
