Dear Judge Karlin:
On July 5, 2013 the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Atomic Safety and Licensing Board issued its ruling on the challenge of the Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League of the license renewal for TVA's Sequoyah nuclear power plant. The order followed a series oflegal briefs, initiated by BREDL's petition, and replies by TVA and the NRC staff attorneys.
The three-judge panel empowered to make the ruling stated: "we neither grant nor deny BREDL's request for a hearing and petition to intervene."
I urge that that you grant BREDL's request for a hearing near the Sequoyah plant site.
